o Answer: False. A personal injury claim is about pursuing what you’re entitled to under both your legal and insurance rights.
· Myth: “It’s a special deal, if an attorney tells you, that you don’t pay unless a recovery is made on your behalf.
o Answer: This is just the law in Michigan regarding contingency fees. This isn’t something special one firm can offer, it’s just the law all firms must abide by when handling a personal injury case under a contingency fee agreement.
