A 35-year old Kansas man was involved in an accident south of Scribner on Highway 275 around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A northbound semi driven by Dustin Graf was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate a curve at the cross over in the construction zone and overturned.
Graf, who was uninjured, was issued a citation and six cattle died.
The Highway was closed for about 6 hours.
Dodge County deputies along with the Scribner Fire and Police Departments responded to the scene.
