Police: Serious injury reported in East Haven crash, road open – New Haven Register

EAST HAVEN — A person was seriously injured in single-car crash on Forbes Place Thursday afternoon, according to local police.
Police Capt. Joseph Murgo said first responders were on the scene at 12:30 p.m. and working to investigate the crash. He said the Fire Department was working to extricate a victim from the car.
Murgo originally said that motorists should avoid the area between Main Street and Kimberly Avenue, but later noted Forbes Place had reopened.

There was no immediate information on how many victims are involved in the crash.
