Newark, NJ (February 26, 2024) – A 13-year-old boy was killed in a vehicle wreck that occurred in Newark over the weekend, per reports from local officials and prosecutors.
The incident took place shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, and officers say the child was a passenger in a vehicle that was T-boned at the intersection of Montclair and Clifton Avenues. At the site, the child was pronounced deceased. It is unknown whether any other individuals were hurt in the collision, including the drivers. The cause of the collision is unknown; however, officers have stated that an investigation is in progress.
